It's quite true that 1500 years later Israelis were speaking Aramaic (although the Apostles were also fluent in Greek). However, they were still speaking Hebrew at the time pictured here.

That said, I certainly take your point: to have been a witness! Back in the '50s there was a TV program, You Are There, which recreated historic American events dramatically. You remind me of it. Beyond meeting many of the participants in heaven--Moses! Aaron! Joshua!--will we also be able to "see" the Bible's events, and others besides? We can hope!
