'Satan doesnt want people to know Christ,' Gina Gleason, Calvary Chapels public policy director told LifeSite
CHINO HILLS, California, August 3, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) Southern California may be the last place someone would expect to find God-fearing, Christian Americans fighting to preserve the constitutional right to religious liberty. But thats exactly what LifeSite correspondent Jim Hale discovered when he traveled to Chino Hills, California last week.
A month ago, Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom issued a dictatorial measure that essentially forced churches in the state to shut down altogether.
But Calvary Chapel Chino Hills refused to obey and kept its doors open.
Satan doesnt want people to know Christ, Gina Gleason, Calvary Chapels director of faith and public told LifeSite. People are coming here, being saved, hearing the word of God.
Gleason believes that were just seeing something supernatural here.
The churchs associate pastor, Josh Blevins, said theyve been getting positive responses from all over the world for their courageous decision.
I really believe that people are searching for something that transcends the circumstances of their life, of culture, of even whats going on in our nation, especially when things are being tossed to and fro with waves of difficulty and challenges. The very things people have been putting their lives hopes and dreams in are now disintegrating from underneath them.
People want to look to the church for hope, he added.

Between them and MacArthur, Newsome has his hands full, doesn’t he?
And popular says the Bible is no longer relevant! What could be more relevant than being threatened with jail time for preaching the Gospel?
(And I’m sure Antifa and BLM are more than willing to beat Christians...)
