Again...no .. you AND I are not anymore important thsn others throughout the millennia - and the crisis in the Church today is not going to make us special ! You seem to think the Church has always been this glorious group of humans that could do no wrong... until now.... that just ain't true... and yes there certainly have been Pope's in the past that would qualify Pope Francis for sainthood...Through schism, and heresies, and corruption (Medici's) yes the Church has ALWAYS existed with saints AND SINNERS.... these days are no exception.... 75 years ago Mussolini/Hitler coulda wiped out the Vatican anytime they wanted to... If you think your worried, think about those days for a second...
