In all this minutia about the Sacrament and the tabernacle, let’s not forget what it’s all about: the Cross.
“all this minutia about the Sacrament”
_____
Do you understand the Church’s teaching with respect to every minute particle that unintentionally but inevitably at least occasionally falls to the floor of the nave when a lay Catholic irreverently receives the consecrated Host in one of his unconsecrated hands, and pick up the same with his other unconsecrated hand to feed himself rather than allow himself to be fed in the first place by the priest standing right in front of him, that all four if the body, blood, soul and divinity of Jesus Christ the Living God are all present and, though hidden, entirely contained therein?
If you do understand this teaching, do you personally believe it?
If you do personally believe it, how can you possibly refer this posting as “all this minutia about the Sacrament”?
The Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ in the Most Blessed Sacrament is mere "minutia" to you?
Unbelievable.
