I recited those Latin responses from 1960-63 as an altar boy.

It’s very refreshing to hear a Bishop speak of spiritual things rather than political things.

My parents used to attend a traditonal Latin Mass and we were able to have a Latin requiem Mass for my mother's funeral. But the current bishop seems to have ended the Latin Mass there (or perhaps they couldn't find a priest willing and able to say the Mass in Latin).

I was told by a Karen in my parish that any Latin Mass should be the Novus Ordo Mass. I attended one of those once--even though the Latin was pronounced correctly it just wasn't the same.
