My guess is that you underestimate their mental illness.

Their “behavior” is merely one expression of their loathing for everyone else, in fact, all of human society. If they couldn’t do this, they’d be skinning the neighbor’s cat.

It is the nature of this kind of illness that the expression escalates. After all, it is not the behavior, itself, that gratifies the ill person, but its effect on society.

These people need to be locked up. Treated possibly, but locked up if their antisocial behavior cannot be controlled.

You might add that their STUPIDITY is underestimated. Most everyone is literate, fairly well educated so they have NO EXCUSE for their behavior.

They REALLY need a good dose of our good Lord.
