We need to place a monument with the ten commandments in the middle of each inner city.
The idea that you should not steal, covet, commit adultery,
and should honor your parents, is so alien to the entire inner city culture that one can mourn this guidance was ever removed from schools.
(And one can wonder what in the world the inner city clergy has been doing for the past 50 years...)
What have Clergy been doing the last 50 years?
I suspect most have been giving up and/or giving in just to keep the parish monies flowing in.
