Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Oh LORD,
Our God,
How Excellent is Your Name over all the Earth!
How Marvelous,
How Glorious,
and How Magnificent!
It is You Who created the Bright and Dark Stars,
The Galaxies and the Singularities,
The Quasars and the Star Clusters,
That man in his hubris are only now just discovering!
They are Your Artwork,
Your Passing of the Time,
Your Creation For The Pleasure of Your Eternal Mind!
You See the End From The Beginning,
And the Beginning From The End.

LORD, We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem,
According To Your Will and Promise.
We Beseech You on Behalf of Our Captive Brethren,
Christians and Jews,
In Bondage in Hostile lands.

We Pray For Our President,
And other Leaders of Our Beloved USA
May They Receive Wisdom from You
To do the Right Thing.
We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Yesterday, we talked about the Good News/Bad News Idiom in our language. Since much of Hebrew Poetry consists of contrasting couplets, we can see where this idiom perhaps got its start. Isaiah is full of Good News/Bad News scenarios, and the Servant Songs are a primary example.

Yesterday, the Prophet sang of the wickedness of mankind and the Judgement of God. That was the Bad News.

Today we hear about the Good News. The Servant of God, The Redeemer, brings this Good News, which is so lovely that even the feet that carry Him are Beautiful.

Some scholars go so far as to call Isaiah's Servant Songs as a "Fifth Gospel". The word "Gospel" is from a old English word that means...you guessed it..."Good News".

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

"He was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification." (Romans 4:25)

God Bless America!

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

This Symbol Represents Christians in The Middle East, who desperately need our Prayers.

Hallelujah and Amen
