Blocking the Sheen canonization goes way back before that and involves the Vatican and NY. Do you think Dolan would not release the body just on a stubborn whim?

Whim... ? No.... Because... I agree with Dolan and they should honor what Bidhop Sheen (unequivocally wanted for his burial) stated in HIS will..... Not what someone decades after the fact wanted....
I think it's a shame actually that bishop Sheen is being moved - or moved already from NYC I haven't paid attention- from St. Pats and the city he came to love. What better place for him to be interred than in a city that sorely needs his wisdom and guidance the most.... And maybe the reason he chose to be buried in NYC.
What I have put in my will is going to be adhered to, subject to change by no one.....if not.... I'll catch up with them in Purgatory...
