Scripture is pretty clear on the importance of church attendance.
There are doctrines of the Catholic church with which I disagree, but there’s not much in the Mass which is contrary to Lutheran doctrine (refer to Article 24 of the Augsburg Confession, for instance).

Missing one week while travelling is hardly a problem. If you think there is not much in the mass that contradicts Lutheran doctrine you either do not u feret and Lutheran doctrine ( which I doubt) or you do not undestand the mass which is more likely. YMMV I would attend a nondenominational or baptist service or find one online. Take some time and really study the doctrine behind the mass and what Roman beliefs are
