You could have someone as dumb and clueless as Joy Behar (except the masculine references indicate to me it will be a male, of course), after having been Satan’s power, they cold accomplish anything (within the temporary evil).

That being said, I still believe the Antichrist arises from Europe.

I agree. It's obvious the whole world yearns for the "peace deal". They have no idea what it will unleash.

Can't trust the Bible, you know. They've got it all figured out. The 7-year peace deal will bring "peace and safety" / "peace and security".

"Peace and Security" in regards to dividing Israel and creating a Palestinian state. I don't know that the 60th-year anniversary of the U.N. means anything specific but if you haven't seen the video before, you might find it interesting in light of the ESV verse above.
