“I’m pretty sure that Francis isn’t a real Catholic, but is he even a Christian?”
__________________________________________

As a Christian (who does fail, daily), I firmly believe he is not a believer in Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of the world.

A Christian may acknowledge those in other religions have the legal rights to worship in their faith, given the safety and freedom of those in other religions. American would be the prime example of this standard.

That said, a Christian will never equate any other religion as the equal of the Christian faith. That is because there is no other equal to Jesus Christ in the faith of the Christian.

Even in Judaism they were looking forward to their Messiah’s arrival. When he arrived they rejected him because he didn’t fit their version of the Warrior King. Their rejection didn’t erase their expectation of the King: It allowed the Gentiles to be given the gift of Salvation.

Pope Francis has actually equated the false god of Islam as equal to Jesus Christ.

No doubt the Pope is catholic, but a Christian he’s not.
