This is precisely why I left the Catholic church.
They refuse to own up to the predatory pedophile priest problem that they have had for 30 + years.
It was that long ago that they transferred one of their known perverts into my parish.
I was not one of the victims but I knew some.
It stands to reason that these pedophile priests and the Catholic leaders who protect them, cannot really believe in God, His Son Jesus, or the Bible.
These people also cannot really believe in a hereafter and a judgement day where they will each stand and be held to account for their life and their deeds.
There is nothing in scripture that says our Lord is going to give them a free pass for their sins, just because they are priests.
If they have studied scripture they know their future is going to be torment beyond measure.
The bottom line is they are flat-out impostors and they live a complete lie. Even for that reason alone - Catholic people should shun them completely and call them out for the evil they are.
