Pro-abortion Democrat leader Nancy Pelosi quoted the Bible again Sunday to defend her plan to release prisoners early during the coronavirus crisis.
The speaker of the House often touts herself as a devout Catholic and a compassionate individual, and she frequently quotes scripture to justify her political actions.
In an interview Sunday with MSNBC host Joy Reid, Pelosi used a passage from the New Testament to explain why she is advocating for the early release of certain prisoners in a new coronavirus relief bill, Townhall reports.
In our caucus, we are very devoted to the Gospel of Matthew, Pelosi said. When I was hungry, you fed me. When I was homeless, you sheltered me. When I was in prison, you visited me, and so this for us is part of our value system.
She said the House Judiciary Committee is working on language to clarify which prisoners can leave because they really dont need to be there.
Everything should be about the truth, Pelosi said. What are the numbers? What is the science of this, of these people being together there unnecessarily in many cases, some of them having served enough of a sentence to leave? They [should] be protected, their health be protected, it shouldnt be a risk of life.
.
Later, she added, We want to protect everyone.
But that is not true. Pelosi does not want to protect everyone, especially the most innocent, defenseless of all human beings babies in the womb.
Abortion facilities across the country remain open for business, even though they are destroying lives, not saving them. Recently, medical groups representing more than 30,000 doctors in America emphasized that abortions are not essential or urgent, and abortion facilities that continue to operate during the pandemic are being medically irresponsible.
Though Pelosi claims to be Catholic, she is a radical pro-abortion Democrat who supports abortions for any reason up to birth. Last year, she repeatedly blocked legislation to protect newborns who survive abortions from infanticide. Once, she even described late-term abortions as sacred ground.
The Democrat leader also fights against religious freedom for the very faith that she claims to be a part of. Earlier this month, she joined an amicus brief arguing against the Little Sisters of the Poor, a nuns charity that opposes the Obamacare contraception mandate. The nuns have been fighting in court for years for relief from the mandate, which forces employers to pay for contraception that may cause abortions in their employee health plans.
I only say if she is playing games, the ‘MAN ABOVE” will deal with her!
What the heck does that scripture have to do with releasing prisoners?
Also as a volunteer in my church’s prison ministry I think I’m offended by those comments.
Selective Christianity. What a wonderful way to both preach saintliness and practice diabolic schemes.
Sorry, the Ten Commandments are not merely suggestions.
Satan is well known to twist the Lord’s words to his purpose, too.
The Goddaughter really should steer clear of evoking the Bible on all occasions.
“when I wasn’t in prison, I murdered and raped you.”
Rev. 3:16
16. So, because you are lukewarmneither hot nor coldI am about to spit you out of my mouth.
So she quotes the Bible? Big deal! Satan quoted Psalm 91:11-12 (see Matthew 4:5).
Birds of a feather flock together.
Pelousy wants more felons on the streets because they vote for her

When I was hungry, you fed me.
But not $13/pint ice cream.
When I was homeless, you sheltered me.
But not in a mansion or a vineyard chateau. In a tent on the Sand Fran streets.
When I was in prison, you visited me.
Nancy...No, I won’t visit you in prison.
Visiting those in prison is very different from letting them out to visit you!
Well, we ought to take her advice, and go out and eat Chinese Food..in this she was right. Come on OUT folks and mingle..nothing to worry... She is the spokesperson.
When I was hungry, you fed me. When I was homeless, you sheltered me. When I was in prison, you visited me,
Obviously she can’t read! It says you visited me, not you get released from prison. Maybe I can visit her some day in prison. One can only hope!
She will find out about “that thing” Joey B references
"Visited me" does not mean released me. What a moroon..
One day I hope we have the pleasure of seeing her self combust, Ill be the first there with marshmallows
Thats actually a reference to the towns water.
The local river was undrinkable because upstream a cool clear mountain channel merged with waters from a sulphuric hot spring.
individually one was cool and refreshing and the other reputed to have recuperative potency, as many hot springs are said to have, but together they formed a tepid mess. Had a miles long aqueduct because no one would drink from the river.
Saying You taste like your water. as He essentially was doing was pretty in your face.
Humorous: one fellow in Florida once said of his tap water I swear they mix it with literal alligator piss down here.
Nancy, you might want to rethink your values, aborting babies and having the homeless live in filth is not a value, it’s a shame.
‘I swear they mix it with literal alligator piss down here.’
What do you think Gatorade is composed of?
