He has been one of Cardinal Pell's staunchest defenders during this ordeal - based entirely on the evidence - not as many people have falsely suggested, religion (Bolt is not a Christian - I believe he is agnostic - he is just a man who believes in fairness and justice)

Financial from what I can recall. That bit was less interesting to me than the local angles.

Pell is almost too ready to forgive the abominable injustice that was done to him. I’m not sure I can say that as a Christian. I guess now I have to go an examine my own conscience.
