There is ONLY One who is RIGHTEOUS and GAVE himself for the sins and transgressions of the whole world! That is what the Passover and Passion week are ALL about (Isa. 53, John 1:29; 3:16-17; 19:30; 1 Peter 1)! Dear friends, the Lamb for a fallen man is the Son of Man, who is the ETERNAL Son of Almighty God! Jesus Christ is our PERFECT Lamb and the PERFECT LOVE of Almighty God the Father for you and me! The Bible states;
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved" (John 3:16-17).
"For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit" (1 Peter 3:18).
In light of today's coronavirus epidemic and abounding lawlessness, may your hearts be looking to your ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS Creator and the Savior of ALL mankind for ETERNAL HOPE and ANSWERS (John 1:1-4; 11:25; 14:1-6, Heb. 1:2-3; 2:14-15)! All of our ETERNAL solutions are found in Jesus alone!
Do YOU have a personal relationship to the Lord Jesus Christ in Spirit and in Truth as the Bible clearly teaches (John 4:24)? If not, be sure to challenge yourself, see for yourself and then place your trust in Jesus today. It is absolutely crucial for you to have Jesus' RIGHTEOUS PROPITIATION for your ETERNAL well being (John 3:16-17, 1 John 4:10)! Dear friends, Jesus will deliver you from ALL of your transgressions against the ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS absolutes of Almighty God and the lawlessness of your fallen humanity and heart; and redeem you from sin's ETERNAL ruin (Rev. 20:11-5)! This Passover and Passion week (if you know not the Biblical Jesus as your personal Savior), may you place your trust in Him today as the Holy Scriptures so clearly and simply teach (John 1:12; Acts 16:28-31, 1 John 5:13)! You will indeed NEVER be the same (Eph. 2:1-10, 2 Cor. 5:17-21)!
The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!
I thank God every day for taking care of us. His Divine Providence.
He took my sin.
He gave me His righteousness in exchange.
What a trade!
He owed me nothing.
I owe Him everything.
Amen! How awesome is that! Thank you Jesus!
Yes! He keeps us sane in an insane world!
...so as to make believers the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN CHRIST.
For he has made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 2 Cor. 5:21.
Yes!! Perfect verse for the title!
He has risen!
In the Old Testament there were a number of offerings and sacrifices - all pointing to Christ. Two of those offerings were the sin offering and the burnt offering - both fulfilled by Christ on the cross.
The sin offering was done occasionally to remind God's people that their sins had been transferred to the sacrificial animal. Likewise today under the New Covenant of grace, God wants to remind us when needed that our sins were fully judged and put away on the body of the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ.
The burnt offering, on the other hand, was done twice a day to continually remind God's people that the perfection of the sacrificial animal was transferred to them. Likewise today under the New Covenant of grace, God want us to continually remember that because of Christ's perfect sacrifice on the cross, the righteousness of Christ was transferred to us when we receive Christ.
God doesn't want to to focus on our sins because he has put our sins away (Hebrews 9:26). He wants us to focus on our receiving the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness whereby we reign in life and are victorious (Romans 5:17).
God Bless and Happy Easter.
Amen! The past is the past.. the future is His future for our lives and future! Gal. 2:20!
