Should have probably edited the title from the Diocesan with "Why "Catholics" should have Crucifixes in their homes"
Disclosure: Our home has 6 Crucifixes.... So yeah one does not forget.... But they are not for everyone.... I can appreciate that..... But all the same, there was NEVER a time when Jesus' Cross was standing empty.... An empty Cross without Christ can be construed as a symbol of a standard Roman execution - used for executing criminals of that day.... But to each his or her own....
