I fail to understand the logic that a government ‘temporarily’ closing a church under threat of arrest and prosecution is somehow Constitutional but the permanent closing of them is not Constitutional.

Oh yes, I am sure you will say that somehow the public good in the short run is outweighed by my right (which is specifically delineated in the First Amendment) to go to church and risk my own life by doing so.

I suggest simply, if one does not want to risk this disease, stay home until it passes or, stay home forever for that matter, because disease is an omnipresent reality of life.

Once government gets involved to restrict a citizen’s personal liberties, we get into the exact argument that the Bill of Rights was added to the Constitution in the first place.
