All masses have been canceled in Malta and – get this – even confession. Priests are refusing to meet even at a distance with parishioners and literally mocking confession at a distance even though the Church Herself provides for this. Please note that the shutdown of Masses is NOT coming from the government, who has encouraged everyone to go about “business as usual.” This is coming directly from Charles Scicluna who, with the stroke of a pen, has literally obliterated everything in the church for an entire nation.
When I, myself, inquired of priests what should one do in case of mortal sin, I was told to just say an act of contrition. One of the priests even laughed in my face (over the phone) and said that priests do not even go anywhere near mortal sin, when considering the confessions of people, because (paraphrasing) to commit such sin is infrequent, given all the conditions that need to be fulfilled.
I think you need to know about all this.

Get this: Not only did he have teenagers present at the Mass against his very own directive of no people at Masses. At Communion time, despite having used these 4 lay people for the readings and to sing on the guitar, the Archbishop and his two concelebrating priests all received communion, BUT left those four teenagers without the Eucharist!
You need to understand this, Frank. Malta right now has ZERO community transmission of COVID-19. The only cases (<20) are all imported and all in isolation and showing minimal symptoms such that they don’t even need any kind of treatment.
SO all I have sent you and am adding to here is NOT about the contamination/viral spread issue, BUT about the elite clergy of Malta keeping God for themselves only and depriving the entire nation of Him. Vilely, brazenly.
If you need translation of the Archbishop’s homily, I will do it for you. Obviously, I know Maltese (first language). He even had the brazenness, in the beginning of his homily, to say that “God is making us fast from Him.” Apparently this fast does not apply to the elite clergy.
None of this is from God. Who do these faithless, feckless men think they are fooling? This is Satan’s work dressed up as ‘angel of light.’
It's not God who's making us fast from Him; it's francisbishops like Scicluna who are making us fast from Him.
Perhaps they should get real jobs?

The Bishop said God is making us fast from Him? I think God is making the world fast from its idols: Money, sports, movies, restaurants, pleasure and self-seeking in all its forms. It’s like God is making the world do penance despite itself. The world needs to be humbled (And believers need to be purified). And this is happening during Lent! The unborn are slaughtered. Marriage is redefined. The arrogance has reached the point to where some think they can redefine gender. Pelosi was said to be initially trying to get an expanded Hyde Amendment (expanded federal funding for abortion) into the Coronavirus relief package. Biden was defending gay marriage in the debate tonight. No wisdom! I know so many good people who have said for years that God is gonna shake us up at some point and I wonder if it’s started. Pray! Pray! Pray! I don’t think God ordained/sent the Coronavirus but He is permitting it.
The banning of Mass and the sickness is God’s warning to the world and the Church to cease sinning against the Holy Eucharist.
