If the word of God is a changing manifesto, then God is a lie.

Of course it’s not about “salvation” - for those who try to save their life will lose it.
But he’s completely bass-ackwards that homosexuality is acceptable as a lifestyle and that God honors it.

To live the journey with God means to take on the yoke of God. Not flaunt it and wait for God to bail you out like some spoiled child. Homosexuality isn’t a sin because some dusty old Israelis said so - it’s a sin because the journey means you be fruitful and multiply - that means Herero sex. To adopt the homosexual lifestyle means to not do that and love your life in pure luat and pleasure.

For crying out loud it’s why adultery is a sin - it hurts the families and children if you allow it.

But I’m sure this pastor has filled his head with the “scripture” of Facebook and is far more educated than God.

I am puzzled about why the sanctuaries of so many churches today look like a night club except the pews are covering the area where you would expect the dance floor to be. Look at the picture of him and the lighting behind him. I have been in nightclubs with more foot candles of light than in his church.

Matlock is not a God approved pastor. He is misleading those who attend his church, as he does not preach God’s Word. God’s Word is all about salvation, about repentance from sins, and about having a personal relationship with Jesus. Those who mock God,which this pastor does, do not end well.

I knew a young man who was saved and yet living a homosexual lifestyle. He died young, in a drug induced car accident. I believe that the cognitive dissonance of being saved yet living in sin helped to kill him. Imagine the Holy Spirit living in you and having to plead daily with you to repent and turn away from deliberate sin.
