"The risk of touching the tongue and passing the saliva on to others is obviously a danger however the chance of touching someone’s hand is equally probable and one’s hands have a greater exposure to germs.”

Wrong, as usual. Hands "do" have a greater exposure to germs, but the danger of touching the hand in communion "in the hand" is nowhere close to that of communion "on the tongue". There is a reason that sane bishops are restricting "on-the-tongue".

Wrong, as usual.

So says the jack of all trades and expert at none of them.

The Archdiocese said that it had consulted two physicians regarding the matter, one of whom was a specialist in immunology for the State of Oregon.

You're full of it.
