The Incoherence Of The Koran
Youtube ^ | 2/29/20 | Gerard Perry

I explore three surahs that illustrate the self-contradictory nature of the Koran, and demonstrate how Tawhid and the ostensible immortality of the Koran are mutually exclusive.

Yes. So what is wrong with that? This is a discussion forum. He’s discussing a relevant topic.

I once tried reading the Koran. Suffice to say there is more of a story in a super market circular than the Koran.

Maybe nothing “wrong” with it but I have seen posts removed for “blog pimping” and maybe this particular post doesn’t fit that category but if it happened to it would be the owner’s prerogative to delete the post.

Right?

Ah...but did you consider the concept of “abrogation”? Where what the ‘prophet’ says earlier in life is superseded by later ‘revelations’? ..as the Koran isn’t in chronological order one must understand this and read it in order.

Ok. Done that. Oh, it just gets more violent as time goes on though!

...then they say, “oh, your problem is that you really have to read it in Arabic to understand its true meaning!”.

What? What a pathetic excuse. So now I’d have to learn to speak, read & write Arabic, which probably still wouldn’t be enough because they’ll tell me I don’t understand their ‘culture’.

If that is the case then this all exposes the evil of the book. It can be used to convince anyone of anything. No wonder millions of illiterate morons can be convinced by their Imam to be radical and commit murderous acts in the name of ‘good’.

...also the same reason almost zero journalists have read it. Yet they ‘know’ it is as good as the Bible (or just as bad).

Yes, I’m well aware of the abrogation in the Koran. The thing is an incoherent mishmash. I’ve also heard theories that there is no copy of the Koran older than 400 years. Just a theory. Don’t know if it’s true.

To clarify...wasn’t saying you didn’t know. ...was just ‘completing’ the narrative as I hear over and over.

Did you see the interview of Tommy Robinson in Russia on RT? The interviewer was the most ignorant I’ve ever seen, constantly saying ‘the Bible has bad parts too’ - smh.

Moral relativism, next to ad homonyms the go-to tool in the liberals debating tool box.

Since the Koran is a knock-off of the Bible, mostly Old Testament, it’s not a surprise that it isn’t thoroughly thought out.

If you have any difficulty understanding what Allah wants done Muhammad is considered Allah's messenger and the perfect man.

Just follow the examples set by Muhammad- Subjugate, convert or kill anyone who stands in the way of spreading Islam.-Tom

I tried to read the hadith and it was just plain horrible. It didn’t flow like the word of God does and to be honest it’s just a boring book wrote by a man that was possessed by a demon/demons.

Actually Mohammed was illiterate. He would have ‘’dreams’’ and ‘’visions’’ and then relate the stories to underlings who would put it into writing.
