Isn't that like condemning all Catholics because a Priest molests a child ?
For a priest, yes. However, what is it when there are many priests molesting children, and a systemic hiding of this information?

Catholic lay folk aren’t responsible at least not to me
As an outsider it looks to me the catholic clergy is authoritarian and is not beholden to their congregants
What priests did or do is their fault no one else
But they aren’t victims of scorn for nothing
