Your point is well taken but there are limits. You would not I hope use this argument to work as a bodyguard for a mafia hit man. Or as a ticket taker at the strip club. Or as a photographer for a gay escort
Service. Right ?

Some kind are in and if themselves sinful and should not be performed.

We all work “for wicked men” because everyone is a sinner. But that doesn’t mean that you can work as unto the Lord in any and all capacities.

[[but there are limits.]]

Of course there are- However, IF one were forced to- they would not be in violation of God’s law-

Let’s say, God forbid, that a foreign murderous entity had taken over the country- and people were forced to work for the evil government who in essence were ‘hitmen’- BUT even here, there comes a limit where we have to put our lives on the line if asked to violate God’s law- ie if we’re asked ot do the murders- if the boss were to demand we renounce God-

Daniel obediah, and friends all worked under a very very evil king- they did so with God’s blessings- This king demanded that everyone bow down and worship him- but of course daniel and friends had to draw the l ine- They also refused ot eat the king’s food because it violated Jewish law- But even in the king’s evil, he allowed them to refuse his food- so these men were moral agents that did have some small influence on the king, and eventually a great influence-

But since we’re talking more about voluntary work- then no- one has to draw some lines at employment under grossly sinful companies- Yes we have to use wise judgement-

[[But that doesn’t mean that you can work as unto the Lord in any and all capacities.]]

It depends on the circumstances ie forced labor- but again, there are still lines that can’t be crossed in such circumstances- like when Daniel refused to bow down and worship the king as a god—

woops- meant ot say

“Let’s say, God forbid, that a foreign murderous entity had taken over the country- and people were forced to work for the evil government who in essence were ‘hitmen’.....

The person would not be in violation of God’s laws DEPENDING on what they did under such an evil entity/government

as shown by the example of Daniel
