Female Bishop to Be Ordained in Catholic Church

Susan Bunton Haynes will be instituted as the 11th lay-bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Southern Virginia.

The event will be held on February 1 in St Bede Catholic Church in Williamsburg. It will be performed by Michael Curry, the Presiding Bishop and Primate of the Episcopal Church.

Contradicting the bible, the declining Episcopal Diocese of Southern Virginia “blesses” homosex pseudo-marriages and promotes homosex ideology.

St Bede belongs to Richmond Diocese. It looks like a Protestant church with an organ in lieu of the high altar.

For January 17, the parish invites “all fathers and father figures” to the 7th Annual Father-Daughter Dance.

I guess they are doing this so a female bishop will be ordained inside a Catholic Church and some clowns in the hierarchy of both Churches are allowing it.

As if Roman Catholic churches today look like churches of the early ekklesia.

Prots, glass houses, stones, hypocrites.

You were the one crying about the lack of a kneeler in non-RC churches.

"It looks like a Protestant church with an organ in lieu of the high altar."

As I recall the Apostle Paul commands us to use music in worship of God but I don't remember him saying anything about "high alters".

There is a Baptist church around here that was damaged by severe flooding. The Presbyterians offered to let them hold services in their building while repairs are made.

Probably something like that.

The Catholic Church I was raised in has a pipe organ above the altar.

The former pastor solicited funds and had it built in the 70’s. We derisively called it “Monsignor Schnurr’s Caliope”.

The question answers itself.
