Well, Peter is about as Ealy in the church as you can get and he was married. That’s all the authority I need.

While there is mention of his mother-in-law, there is no mention of his wife or that she was still alive. Even if she were, this does not rule out that he practice priestly constancy. Even in the Eastern churches were they have married priests, like the Jewish priest, they refrain from marital relations prior to celebrating the Mass.

You’ve obviously never read Eusebius “History of the Church” which documents that Peter’s wife was martyred shortly before he was or 1st Timothy which says a Pastor should be the husband of one wife. There’s a better argument that a pastor must be married than that he must be celibate. Although I’m not going to go that far.
