Monday, January 6, 2020: The Holy Spirit's Ministry: Verifying Our Relationship With Christ
The Holy Bible (KJV) | 01/07/2020: 4:41 AM

Romans 8:17: "And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together."

2 Timothy 3:12: "All that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution."

John 15:20: "Remember the word that I [Jesus] said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also."

Matthew 5:1-14: "And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him: 2) And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying, 3) Blessed are the poor in Spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4) Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. 5) Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. 6) Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. 7) Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. 8) Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. 9) Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. 10) Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11) Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12) Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. 13) Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden underfoot of men. 14) Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid."

Matthew 5:3 "Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

To be poor in spirit is not to be without this world's material wealth. It is to have that absence of God's Presence in that person's life, indeed their entire being; but when their heart undergoes that wonderful transformation when our Precious Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ awakens and reveals the Love, Joy and Peace of His Great and Graceful Person, it's "joy unspeakable and full of glory!" That individual and indeed any one of us who reaches out and takes the Master's hand instantly finds our real purpose in life--what the Lord God meant to be from the very beginning of Creation for mankind, which is to have that unspeakably joyful communion with Him in every aspect of our journey on earth. To be a child of God, heirs, and joint-heirs with Jesus Christ our Lord!

From now on, as children of God, the Lord will make sure that we do not lack any good thing; He will make sure that all who have called on the Name of Jesus will be saved, and also that they will be provided for materially through the riches in the Glory of Heaven in God, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Matthew 5:4 "Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted."

Jesus will help you through any period of mourning in your life, no matter what it is. There is absolutely nothing that can rise above His ability to heal your broken heart, a broken soul, a broken mind or a torn spirit. Jesus is your strength, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Call upon Him, and also never ever be afraid to approach strong Christian counsel for help, which are His hands on this earth, as well as yours.

Matthew 5:5 "Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth."

To be meek is not to be weak! It is a strength that comes from enduring much from the evils of this present world, but wrapped in the Loving arms our Jesus Christ our Lord Who IS our strength and "a very present help in trouble." No lashing out or retaliation (not to mean that you don't defend yourself or your family should you be physically attacked). In the Lord, Meek in Him is Strength! And not to forget the glorious promise of Jesus of our inheritance of the earth, whether it be in the present or future!

Matthew 5:6 "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled."

The True, pure Righteousness of our Lord Jesus Christ is what is within our spirit when we accept Him and follow his Word. The more you spend time with One Who loves you more than anyone will ever love you, and hear and read His Word and talk to Him in prayer, His Righteousness flows within your spirit as His Spirit lives within you. Remember, you are always safe within the embrace of your Loving Saviour, no matter what is going on around you--no matter how vicious the crashing of the waves of the roaring seas of a fallen world, His Peace is there. Jesus is coming back soon.

Matthew 5:7 "Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy."

Beloved, as a child of the Living Almighty God, be merciful to those around you. Forgive instantly any wrong, and forget--as this is what the Lord Jesus does concerning you. This does not mean that you have to place yourself again and again in the midst of wicked people who seek to destroy you; remove yourself from that situation if you can, or contact a strong Christian counsel or local agency or law enforcement for help. To forgive is to roll that burden onto the strong shoulders of our Master and Saviour, who bore everything that happened, is happening, and will ever happen on His Body on the Cross, taking it to the grave and destroying it all. He rose again, and Lives Forevermore! Forgive, as He forgave you; if you do not forgive, then He will not forgive you your debts. When people hurt you in the most despicable and horrible of ways, it can take a long time to come to the point of forgiveness, as the world says that you should just hold it against those people, it gives you strength, and one day they'll get theirs. Well, they'll certainly get theirs, the Lord God will make sure of it. Jesus says, "Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-burdened, and I will give you rest for your souls." When you accept Christ, your eternal soul finds rest both in this world and then when Jesus takes you to Heaven. He paid it all, so you don't have to. AMEN! Remember, mercy also takes the form of helping others out with things that they have trouble doing on their own, such as helping elderly parents, the sick and infirm, volunteering for emergencies and shelters, or whatever you feel after entreating the Lord that He shows you to do.

I'll continue with Matthew 5:8-12, Beloved, after a break for coffee and a bit of breakfast. I love you all so much, and I hope that you've had a very Blessed in the Lord God start to your day. Be careful out there, and take care of each other.

Thank you for these kind words of truth during these trying and testing times. May the love and peace of God in Christ through the Holy Spirit rest upon you in a mighty way for your testimony has richly blessed me this day. Amen.
