Because nobody in Texas was taught what she was in and there is no such thing as a southern Baptist high school. And this millennial graduate certainly wasn’t taught that in school.
At best someone might have said like that in the 1920s, only they wouldn’t have because it wouldn’t have occurred to them to do so. Because back then the separation of church and state was not used to enforce state atheism as it is today. The government was quite comfortable with its relationship with religion as it existed since the revolutionary war.

She made it up. She published it. It has all the hallmarks of Jason Blair journalism.

She published she was taught in a southern baptist high school that separation was a plot to turn America into Sodom and Gomorrah. I say she made it up on the spot. She published the claim. So I challenge her to name the high school and the teacher. Give us names of her classmates who can verify it.

This did not happen in the last 90 years in Texas.

She’s a liar. She did not need the drama queen lie to write her story attacking Trump.

And for one thing, I know more about her than you do. For starters, I know shes a chick, not a dude. She’s just trying to update the old tired Molly Ivins routine, that’s all.
