How is that reconciled against the pope’s supposed papal infallibility regarding church doctrine? What happens when the pope announces a new doctrine that is heresy if the church has already said that he’s preserved from the possibility of error?
Does the heresy get overruled by papal infallibility and become church doctrine?
I believe we will see this play out very soon, if it hasn’t happened already.
