Agreed. I’m hoping that the Catholic Church can weather this current pope, and the next one will be better.

Are you saying that Francis should not be criticized? If so, I strongly disagree.
Many popes have been criticised. I have only one problem with that. The media today hates the Church so you can’t believe every thing you hear.
