Nor the fact that they made a statement essentially accused the Salvation Army AND several other organizations by implication and refusal to fund them anymore- of being anti-Gay, which is slanderous since the SA helps everyone when they need it regardless of sexual orientation, which is biblical- helping people when they need it isn’t the same as supporting their lifestyle choices- or even approving of it- but the bible does tell us we need to help everyone when and if they need it
Chic Fil a is trying to weasel out of their pro gay decision now- but their actions and statements belie their excuses-

Make no mistake. They caved to those who would silence discussion. And as Mill wrote: “All silencing of discussion is an assumption of infallibility.”
They also started supporting covenant house, an organization started by a homo pedophile priest who conveniently had access to a bunch of runaways.
Depends on time of the event...a church members owns a restaurant but it can be difficult to get seats together and another couple own a pizza parlor, which the youth tend to like.

No, but it was a place that went out of it’s way to play the role of Christian friendly. With the original owner I think it was real. With the kids, it was just a hustle as it turns out. So Christians did go out of their way to patronize them and support them.
Now they have decided to support the progressive movement, so we have gone away.

May be the case but there are many other companies out there that are doing
great and support a lot of various organizations that do support some of the
same groups that the Chick is now starting to support. I doubt Chick has to
close many stores in the long run. If they do so be it and others will fill the
void left by them.
Knee jerk? Not quite, but...
They still close on Sunday. The employees are polite and seem genuinely happy to see you. The food is good and prices reasonable.
I’ll no longer drive 20 minutes out of my way to patronize them, but given proximity and opportunity I’ll still choose them over other fast food places.
Once Upon a Time in Florida, Publix Supermarkets were closed on Sundays, no more.
That is my fear. We all know the left wants to take them down. If they can’t do that on their own then it would make sense to create a circumstance where their actual customers do it for them. Lefties boycotting wasn’t effective.
It may also be that the SPLC payment was a type of payoff to keep them from being listed as “extremists”. I don’t know.
The one thing that is glaring though, we’re not hearing from the owners. They still close on Sunday. Why? If the company has moved away from its traditional values then why not open on Sunday? We’re not hearing leadership speaking which only leads to innuendo.

I am sort of like you. If I am right by one I may eat there, but in the past I went out of my way to support them, that is gone now.
As for them being closed on Sundays, cut the crap CFA, you chose the broad and wide path with the gay mafia. They still hate you and staying closed on Sundays in the face of your sellout to the Gay mafia makes you look like even bigger hypocrites. Oh we will stay closed on Sundays as per the Bible, but support a lifestyle the Bible clearly opposes and cut off Christian organizations from our giving list. CFA just come out of the closet already, take the 30 pieces of silver and watch the decline of your company because it’s coming sooner or later.
Yes, many are born again believers, who have been hard at work, not realizing some of the companies shenanigans. Our friends just opened a newer, larger CFA, only for this to break a week later. Most at our church say they will still support our local CFA, but none of the others. There is some autonomy to where they are able to designate donations and our friends say that the current narrative doesn’t tell the whole story. It never does, and which liberal group is not willing to tear this company down. It’s the same old method...put a little truth with a greater lie and it will be swallowed hook, line & sinker.
