“There is nowhere in Scripture that says Scripture is the sole source of our faith.”

Now I ask you why do you need more when Holy Scripture itself says that it is enough to be saved and at peace with the Lord?

2 Tim 3:16
All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;

History has shown through the Jews of Jesus’s time that other writings beyond the Holy Bible leads to death, so exactly why would you want to look to other sources when the Holy Scriptures declare themselves sufficient for salvation?

Wrong Again: 50 Years of Failed Eco-pocalyptic Predictions
Myron Ebell, Steven J. Milloy • September 18, 2019

Thanks go to Tony Heller, who first collected many of these news clips and posted them on RealClimateScience.

SUMMARY

Modern doomsayers have been predicting climate and environmental disaster since the 1960s. They continue to do so today.

None of the apocalyptic predictions with due dates as of today have come true.

What follows is a collection of notably wild predictions from notable people in government and science.

More than merely spotlighting the failed predictions, this collection shows that the makers of failed apocalyptic predictions often are individuals holding respected positions in government and science.

“For “Protest”-ants the Bible appears to have simply ‘appeared’ out of thin air in the hands of ????? in about the Middle Ages.”

The Bible has been around since the 1st century it just wasn’t called the Bible, but that doesn’t mean the same writings wasn’t wrote, studied, and believed upon by believers in Jesus since the beginning.

Just because some council declared the word Biblis/Bible doesn’t make that the official Word of God. God declared His Word/Bible through His Holy Spirit by His apostles.

I always remember the wisdom of a simple humorous observer - George Carlin, whenever this topic arises.

The leading advocates of the Climate Change movement are politicians, entertainers, and now indoctrinated sock puppet children.....who lack any formal scientific training and live personal lives of unparalleled luxury while prescribing carbon austerity for the masses....

Further, Typical to cults is the constant refrain that The world will end in s many years if we don’t do thus and such is the same thing we hear chanted by these people.

They also demand ‘more’ from the public.....First it was recycling and paper bags....to straws and now we hear everyone should be vegans!

Th list goes on...it's a cult!

So, I am currently studying through the Book of Revelation...Rev. 6:12-14 is the opening of the 6th seal and John states "there was a great earthquake"...(among other forms of devastation)...

I loved John MacArthur's comment on this..."Can I stop here and give a word to the environmentalists? Can I give a word to the Save the Earth group? If you think man has messed up this earth, wait till you see what God does to it."

Creating their own sins to keep the laity in check...hate to say it but the catholic Church is turning out to be the model the climate “scientists” have been using to try to control people (was just a matter of time before it teamed up with them that call others heretics for not toeing the party line)...it’s following God’s Word as loosely as the “scientists” are employing actual honest science.

Indeed - and 2/3 of Scripture was written before the incarnation.

So the proposed Global Warming Tax is an “Indulgence”?
Its all about $$$ and how to separate families from it and give it to someone else.

For “Protest”-ants the Bible appears to have simply ‘appeared’ out of thin air in the hands of ????? in about the Middle Ages.

Actually, the early ekklesia recognized a good part of the NT as canon early on.

This is what separates the “Protest”-ants from, well, the one, true church, an ACTUAL succession of Peter down through the ages, something the “Protest”-ants just don’t have any answer for.

Since, therefore, the tradition from the apostles does thus exist in the Church, and is permanent among us, let us revert to the Scriptural proof furnished by those apostles who did also write the Gospel, in which they recorded the doctrine regarding God, pointing out that our Lord Jesus Christ is the truth, and that no lie is in Him.

Irenaeus of Lyons. (1885). Irenæus against Heresies. In A. Roberts, J. Donaldson, & A. C. Coxe (Eds.), The Apostolic Fathers with Justin Martyr and Irenaeus (Vol. 1, p. 417). Buffalo, NY: Christian Literature Company.

This so called "succession", or "tradition", Rome claims is based on Scripture as its proof.

What separates Christianity from Roman Catholicism is this reliance upon Scripture for its beliefs.

So much of Roman Catholic theology is not found in Scripture, hence violating one of the principles they claim.

Romans 1:24-25 King James Version (KJV)

“24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

“25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and WORSHIPPED AND SERVED THE CREATURE MORE THAN THE CREATOR, who is blessed for ever. Amen.”

==================================

Why WOULDN'T anyone want as much of Jesus' words and actions as one could possibly get?
Why would you put a limit on those words and actions?
Why would one ever get enough of Jesus?
Normal HISTORY also tells us things about Jesus. Do you exclude that part as well?

You are greatly SHORTCHANGING yourself with those restrictions.
===================================

Exactly WHICH "historical documents" show "through the Jews of Jesus’s time that other writings beyond the Holy Bible leads to death"??

You just said that you didn't need any other source but the Bible. Now you are adding "historical documents" to the mix.
MAKE UP YOUR MIND.

Pax tibi.
