I agree with you. I’ve spent most of my 74 years in church on Sunday morning and I can honestly say I NEVER heard a sermon on homosexuality until the Supreme Court legalized their marriages a few years ago. Then our pastor’s advice was to love them into a personal relationship with Christ.
My oldest daughter, a lesbian who grew up in that church and literally never heard such a sermon for the 20 years she spent there, now believes this every Sunday sermon lie. So does her “wife” who was also raised in a church. From what I hear, they are both alcoholics who are trying to force homosexuality on my 14 year old grandson, alienating her three sisters in the process. She is no longer speaking to us, for reasons unknown to us, beyond our steadfast refusal to renounce our Christianity so she can feel better about her own sin.
What a tragic story.
I’m so sorry for the pain that your family is going through.
I guess when you give into one lie from the enemy, it gives him that foothold he needs to feed more into your mind.
