“But God said to him,
‘You fool, this night your life will be demanded of you;
and the things you have prepared, to whom will they belong?’
Thus will it be for the one who stores up treasure for himself
but is not rich in what matters to God.””

This has always been a challenge for me. I was born and raised as a child dirt poor. But since then have been blessed beyond my imagination.
I found myself even self sabotaging by not billing clients for extensive work I had done. I had an aversion to wealth.
Then I changed my perception in that now I realize that God owns it all and I am merely His temporary custodian, using it to do His Will.
The hardest part is discerning His Will as not all who ask are ready to receive. If I enable a victim to remain a victim, I am not helping them.
Jesus asked, “Do you want to be healed?” He was asking, Do you want to change? Do you want to find your strength in God?
It is easier to help someone find God when they are crushed, empty and considering suicide, than the fat person who is complaining of hunger.
Thus tribulation, while difficult and painful, will cause many to seek God as they are hitting bottom and suffering.
Thus tribulation, while difficult and painful, will cause many to seek God as they are hitting bottom and suffering.
The earlier we turn to God and become raised up, the easier these times will be.
