Not one scripture supports any other position. No liberal has ever found a scripture that justifies homosexuality. Go against the truth that the Bible never condones homosexuality and you go against Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
And not one scripture supports any position that children in some instances aren't a "heritage of the Lord" and that they need to be aborted intentionally by the mother.
Liberals like Warren will quote Jesus when it suits them, but in totality, as Jesus said, their lips praise Him, but their hearts are far from Him.
It is no coincidence that Buttigieg has been talking about scripture twisting it, that O’rourke wants to tax churches that aren’t for homosexual marriage, and that Warren is using Jesus instead of seeking to obey Him.
Dems this year are really into playing games with God.
If Warren thinks men should stay true to one woman in marriage, which is true, then how do we get to where women aren’t 4 times as likely to divorce a man as men are to divorce a woman?
And how do we deal with the scientific studies that show homosexuals, even in marriage, are exponentially more likely to cheat that heterosexuals are?
I thought it was politically incorrect to sing that song because it says:
“Red, yellow, black and white, they are precious in His sight. Jesus loves the little children of the world”
And it’s not good to say red or yellow, etc.,.
Liberals make things up as they go along.

These attitudes are what I believe was meant by “thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.”
Yet many Christians seem to be more concerned about the imprecation “goddamn” and similar vulgarities. I believe these are trivial compared with claiming divine sanction for evil acts.
And as my sainted Dad would say: “When the hammer hits the thumb, you’re not going to say ‘Oh goodness gracious me!’”

I like your posts when it comes to religion more so than many that post regarding the Bible etc.
You do it in a straightforward manner that is Not condescending or pompous or implies a religiously moral superiority on your part.
You just make STRONG points that are worth paying attention to and you refer to the Bible in a way that is easy to understand for those of us who are just not as well read on it.
Of course we should be, but some of us can just get through about 2 paragraphs before our minds fly in 10 different directions.
So folks like you are where we learn a lot about the Bible and it’s great.

Using the Lord’s Name in vain is not a “trivual” sin and is another example of twisting the truth of God’s Word. God will not be mocked. He is Holy.
Jesus does indeed love the little children. He also hates people that hurt them. He hates them so much that it would be better if they had a millstone wrapped around their neck and thrown into the sea. So the alternative must be pretty bad.
You evidently don’t understand what I wrote. You seem to have an overly censorious attitude toward human frailty.
A burst of bad language isn’t exactly admirable but under certain circumstances I can understand it. I can’t speak for the Lord, but as a matter of common sense I can’t imagine that a merciful God would consign someone to hell for swearing when the hammer hits the thumb.
No “truth of God’s Word” is being twisted in such instances.
It’s simply a release of steam when confronting physical or emotional pain.
To me, real blasphemy starts with making promises in the Lord’s name — for example, the oaths taken by witnesses — and then breaking them. And invoking the Lord’s name to sanction evil practices — homosexuality above all — is blasphemy of the foulest sort. Mayor Buttigieg seems to be a particularly bad offender.
I hope you can see the distinctions I’m trying to make.
Something is clearly wrong with her. It may be internal contradictions are playing havoc with her. If so, then there is hope for her but I seriously doubt it.
