As for Mother Miriam, I think she is very clear-sighted in discerning the destruction of true faith and morals being promoted by this lamentable declaration on humanistic global education. This proposal -— minus the rhetorical fluff -— is totalitarian. It dethrones God as the center of Catholic education, strips the parents of their irreplaceable role as the child’s most fundamental educators, and directly exposes children to the coercive power of the State -—or even the global educrats, the SuperState.
The result? Envision a couple hundred million Greta Thunbergs -— but without the winsome, innocent charm.
