They retranslate key Hebrew and Greek words to "mean" something other than "ordinary everyday" man-on-man sex.
I'm serious. They say a key term means exclusively "male temple prostitute of Baal-Peor" or something equally culturally extinct, so that --- unless Baal-Peor is literally referenced while doing the dirty deed--- no worries, it's all good.
