Never did Jesus tell us to pray to Mary. He told us to pray to God the Father, Our Lord, NOT to Mary. Jesus told us that He is the Way, the Truth, the Light. NEVER that his mother Mary was in on any of this. She is no more important than Peter, Noah, Moses, etc.

Prayer is a superpower that anyone can utilize but too many think it’s about immediate gratification like McDonald’s drive thru.

Luke 11

He was praying in a certain place, and when he ceased, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples.” 2 And he said to them, “When you pray, say:

“Father, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. 3 Give us each day our daily bread;[a] 4 and forgive us our sins, for we ourselves forgive every one who is indebted to us; and lead us not into temptation.”
