Pope Francis called for a united Europe in an interview published by Italian daily La Stampa on Friday, saying recent political rhetoric has echoed that of Nazi Germany.
“I am concerned because we hear speeches that resemble those of Hitler in 1934,” he said. “ 'Us first. We … We … ’ These are frightening thoughts.”
It is not the first time the pontiff has made such remarks, but his comments published Friday came as Italy’s populist government appeared to be on the verge of collapse.

I presume Pope Francis is actually not familiar with Hitler’s ACTUAL 1934 speeches.

I assume he’s talking about those speeches where Democrats, Liberals and most importantly Socialist are talking about banning people from expressing differing points of views on internet platforms, and their intent to ban free speech in all forms from people who don’t agree with their politically correct bunk.
That better be what he’s talking about, otherwise he’s aliening the Holy See with those same forces that the Holy See aligned with back in world war 2. He doesn’t want to go down that road.
The fake pope’s speeches sound like a fake pope.
The Post visualizes the end of the right wing government. Interesting as Salvini has just called for a snap election, which he likely would not do if he were in trouble. Elsewhere it is written: “Mr Salvini.... this week pushed through parliament tougher sanctions on charity ships that seek to bring migrants rescued at sea to Italy...” That move has general support.
You can bet he’s in favor of the “Malvinas” “returning” to Argentina.
