An explanation of the historical continuity errors and misunderstandings of scripture contained within the Koran.
There’s nothing confusing about it. To be a good Muslim, you must simply change your name, learn to speak Arabic, and kill someone.
This is something Mohammed's earliest biographer attested to, and yet they don't even contemplate whether or not their prophet was controlled by the Devil.
I know, that’s one of the most ridiculous tacks these people take. If you need to understand Arabic in order to understand the Koran, than all of the conversions that have happened outside of the Middle East, to the millions of non-Arabic speakers throughout the globe, should be rendered moot.
Imams even use it when non-Arabic speaking Muslims ask question like the age of Aisha, drinking camel urine, dunking a fly in water, all water is pure etc. Is that one needs to read it in classical Arabic to really understand it. If that does not work it is simply a weak Hadith. This is why no Muslim apologist will debate people like David Wood who have extensive knowledge of Islam.
How about doing something interesting - like the Kama Sutra....
To avoid confusion and contradictions in Islam all a Muslim has to do is follow the example of God's messenger Muhammad, and the 4 Caliphs who immediately followed Muhammad.
These Caliphs, Abu Bahkr-Umar-Uthman and Ali knew and interacted with Muhammad and understood the fundamentals of Islam.
Which is basically: subjugate convert or kill anyone on this planet that does not believe there is one God and Muhammad is his prophet. -tom
