Of all the cynical Democratic plays I've seen over the years, this play by Senator Coons has got to be the most cynical. This is nothing but a blatant attempt to peel off evangelical votes that went to Trump in the last election. These folks will stop at nothing. Also, the 700 Club should know when they are being played. But then again, I've noticed a tilt toward the left more recently. I hardly watch them anymore.

I don’t think talking about Karl Marx or Gaia or Bhall or whoever or whatever they actually have faith in is going to help them with voters....

Their only faith is in government.
Government controlled by leftists.
Government that controls the populace.

Their “faith” is Marxism and their constituency are atheists and muslims. Maybe they don’t need to waste everyone’s time pretending to be Christians
To: Red Badger
No, I wish it were. There is so much wrong with this picture until I hardly know where to begin.

Smollett said he is a “man of faith”.
That is a nonsensical description of a person. What does it mean? It means whatever the hearer wants it to mean. It’s like “hope and change”. It means whatever the hearer wants it to mean - if they are dumb. If they are smart they know it’s BS.

Can anyone provide info on where Chris Coons stands on different issues?

All I need to know is that the Dims booed GOD three times at the DNC convention in 2012.

Hey Chris Coons, have them parade around carrying bibles like Bill Clinton did.

The Kenyan talked a lot about his muzzy faith.

This is absolutely a cynical attempt to lead people into disastrous proggy wish list policies, but if this disingenuous strategy results in Democrats going to church because thats what all the cool kids are doing, might it be a way for God to begin to save the proggy base out from under them?

Go back to Yale, Chris. I would sooner trust a graduate from the Oral Roberts School of Theology. At least they could teach you how to talk to a 900=foot-tall Jesus, which shows a bit more credibility than leaving the Republican Party to spend ones life bolstering the lies of the so-called "Democratic" (read "Socialist") Party.
No thanks, Chris.

They have their faith, power that leads to socialism. There is no other faith for a anti-American D’rat.
