The reason for her ouster is far more stimulating than any sermon this pastor could have delivered.
The Rev. Dr. Amy Butler, the first woman to lead Manhattans famed Riverside Church, lost her lofty post amid complaints that she brought ministers and a congregant on a sex toy shopping spree and then gave one of them an unwanted vibrator as a birthday gift, The Post has learned.
On May 15, Butler allegedly took two Riverside assistant ministers and a female congregant to a sex shop in Minneapolis called the Smitten Kitten, during a religious conference, according to sources familiar with the out-of-town shopping excursion.

Her salary was “mega”. I can’t imagine any clergy person making that much money, astounding. And all for naught.

Yep. I worked with graduates of a liberal seminary and students going there.
My liberal boss suggested I attend there. Heh. No.

Do not look at the pics!
You will turn into stone...”
No worries. Wasn’t planning on it. No self-respecting woman with a shred of decency would behave like this....

Actually IIRC it was the church that the Rockefellers paid for to give them the appearance of Christianity but non of the substance. It has been apostate from the beginning. Bonhoffer made note of it during his brief time in NYC.
For at least fifty years it has been a hotbed of Marxist paganism.

When you’re writing a newspaper column on a pastorette who goes vibrator shopping for her female friends, it’s hard to beat an opening line that goes “The reason for her ouster is far more stimulating than any sermon this pastor could have delivered.” Right up there with the legendary “headless corpse in topless bar” headline.

A lot --- a LOT ----of major capitalists are major communists.
This is true both of capitalist individuals and capaitalist5 corporations: the bigger, the more financially and socially dominant, the more leftwing they are. Don't ask me why.

Huge endowment from John D. Rockefeller, his heirs, and many other extremely fat cats.
They could hae NO congregants, and maintain that mammoth building a huge staff until Christ comes again.
How long, O Lord, how long?

Frankfurt School. Fuller Theological was one of the trend-setting heresy factories decades ago.

It is not certain Dietrich Bonhoeffer did that. If he did, then he conspired to commit murder - not the best way to emulate Christ, but a way to impress leftist pseudo-theologians.
Marc Thiessen wrote a book purporting to disprove that theory about Bonhoeffer.

No one loves money more than a communist. That is why they take it all, and leave the proletariat uniformly destitute.
Mark Zuckerberg is a communist. Just one of many greedy leftists.
