And white evangelicals are most likely to give incredible amounts of money to foreign missions programs. The largest line item in the budgets of churches I’ve attended is “Missions”. It’s better to give aid to those within the countries so the people can remain there and improve their own countries.
That is an important point that needs to be stressed more, that by helping people in their own communities, they will be there to help others faster and better!!
