This constant drumbeat with individual denominations and when they started is very lame.

Everyone who trusts in Christ alone and not their own works for salvation traces their faith all the way back to Jesus and the Apostolic faith.

Just because some people like different ways of governing the church body doesn’t mean we don’t call each other Christians; it just means that we’ve freed ourselves from the corruption in the Vatican.

This obsession with a visible church organization and condemnation of every believer outside of it is in blatant contradiction to the Word of God.

And that includes Catholics who trust in Christ alone too.

This is what Paul considers *disputable matters*.

there is freedom to disagree with each other in areas not critical to salvation, just like Catholics are permitted.

Or are out resident Catholics going to try to convince us that every single Catholic on the planet agrees lockstep with Catholic doctrine, if they can even pin that down and define it.

Romans 14:1-9 As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions. One person believes he may eat anything, while the weak person eats only vegetables. Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and let not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed him. Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand.

One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. The one who observes the day, observes it in honor of the Lord. The one who eats, eats in honor of the Lord, since he gives thanks to God, while the one who abstains, abstains in honor of the Lord and gives thanks to God. For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's. For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living.

Romans 14:12 So then each of us will give an account of himself to God.

Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

I see one of the big differences between Catholicism and non- Catholics that is we trust each other to be accountable to God ourselves.

Sure, we help each other and confront each other when necessary, but we answer to God, not other men who are lording it over us demanding compliance to their interpretation of Scripture or threaten us with hellfire if we don’t.
