As of now, 25% of my DNA is from Scotland and Ireland.
72% of my ancestors are from the UK, Wale and NW Europe.
I have been coming up with more Irish ancestors recently.

A few years ago I did a DNA test on my Mother and was surprised to learn she's 42% Irish. Of course my grandmother's maiden name is Wallace, so I suppose some of it comes from that.
We really know nothing about her father's side of the family, but it looks like he was quite a bit Irish.
