His books helped point many to Christ, even if his interpretations were sometimes somewhat stretched.

That is probably more than the rest of us have done.

Don’t mind the criticism. People don’t like being told they fall short on their duties. Back in the 70’s Hal’s books helped me to start to understand scripture and to not fear Satan, and to trust what God says. It took me another 20 years to understand the need to actually receive Christ. But God is so faithful, and then I really began understanding the Bible. Hal Lindsay was just part of God’s journey for me. And probably for many.
