They have a well-functioning model country right there in Central America which shares a common language and culture. Costa Rica exports ZERO refugees and even takes in and assimilates a manageable number. Of course, they screen them carefully to keep out gang bangers and other miscreants.
I’m interested in Costa Rica. I’ve heard it’s a great place to live. Historically, how did they turn out so differently from their Central American neighbors?
