BLUEFIELD, WV (WVNS) A pastor of a church in Bluefield is facing charges for sexually abusing a 25-year-old mentally handicapped man, according to police.
Anderson H. Martin II was indicted on sexual assault and sexual abuse charges by a Mercer County Grand Jury last week.
Court documents state Martin called the victims family and asked if he could take out the victim. The family told officers when their son returned home, he was wearing different clothes. The victim told officers Martin took him to his home, undressed and showered him. While in the shower, the victim said Martin asked for inappropriate favors.

That’s him! In another news story he actually gave a press statement.
He should be excommunicated, then shot.
What a very sick individual.
At our UMC church ever since the recent vote to uphold traditional values and to not allow Gay wedding or ordain openly gay pastors all we get every other sermon is language from the pulpit that the new Traditional rules are derogatory, are not inclusive and loving, and our call to worship reading have words like “loving all genders “ or loving our numerous genders”. I’m tired of this crap. I take my kids to church because everywhere else it’s all about pushing the gay agenda and now we hear it from our pastor. Pastors like her need to go. They’re is always the Unitarian Church for her. She is not gay but pushes their agenda. She does this stuff even before kids are dismissed for junior church, which makes me think it’s them she’s speaking to. It like she doesn’t like the vote so instead speaks to the upcoming leadership, those that will carry her vision 10 years down the road. My dear is the USA UMC wants just that.....then they’ll have enough votes to have gay weddings down the road. Then she plays a video sermon today from the Bishop who speaks the same way. Good grief!!!!! If I stay in this church this is what I hear. If I leave then I help the church be more liberal percentage wise in their congregation. What’s the best choice with this matter??? Any thoughts. Maybe my comments here should just be a new post altogether.
Get out of there. Find a good Bible believing Bible teaching church.

For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? 1 Peter 4:17
It is horrible to hear of the sin in churches, but it is good that it is being exposed. These sins of lust, whether for sex, power, money, or any other thing, are often secret sins, until we are found out. If the Church (God’s people) cannot be holy, what hope is there for the world? Every Christian must examine himself, and dedicate himself to holiness in thought, word, and deed. It is a daily walk of sanctification, and the only way to even come near to achieving it, is through prayer and daily study of God’s word, with repentance and obedience.
Get the infidel out of the pulpit. Rebellion and perversity is what I am reading; not healthy spiritual food. Check out John 17:17.
It all sounds good, but the bottom line is still that such evil behavior must not be tolerated.
Absolutely!
We left the UMC and went to a true non-denom that doesn’t even ordain women. And women love the church. Any true UMC woman will know why they love it. The men have to run everything.
This is not a UMC thing. It’s a time for separating the sheep from the goats. Some UMC churches will do fine. I visit one periodically that can sit on their mountain, play bluegrass gospel and not ever have to deal with it.
Prosecute to the fullest extent of the law.

What is wrong with that reporterette? First, she keeps saying sesual. Then, she says, Martin rolled up on me today at the church, denying all charges. Rolled up on me? This is like a news broadcast out of a Zucker film.
