You can go back to 2012-2014, and see basic signs. What happened here is that several foundation groups found ways to recruit ministers into attending a ‘free’ trip to some resort, and then went to simple brainwashing exercises to get them over to a certain opinion. Several of these groups are out of the Virginia area, and fairly good at the technique.
The infiltration of the other major churches started out here about 2 decades ago.
The gays and SJW’s took over church after church from the laity to the preachers/priests and the hierarchy of the churches.
My mother, a widow in her late 70’s found an excellent church based on the Gospels and the word. That started to change again about 2 decades ago. Her church became so liberal, she finally accepted to move to a city where one of my siblings lived to be nearer to relatives.
I flew back and spent a week helping her pack up, move and leave. We saw the asst. preacher a couple of times, he picked up donations for a rummage. That was it in spite of ten + years of attendance, work and donations to the church.
After she moved, the only time her old church contacted her was for donations. My sibling put a stop to that.
