Not all, no. But I find too little worthwhile to listen to the toothless and truthless norm. I cannot bear to listen to KLOVE for more than a few minutes once in a while.

At least Family Radio will play actual hymn settings with occasionally salutary lyrics. They even play John Michael Talbot once in a while.

I'm a big fan of Family Radio's music programs, especially Hymn Time and Family Radio Hymn Sing which feature hymns by some of my favorite hymn writers including Phillip Paul Bliss, George Stebbins, William Kirkpatrick, Ira Sankey, James McGranahan, Daniel Webster Whittle, etc. Recordings of the hymns and sheet music are available online here.

LOL, I know what you’re saying. My wife hates the worship music at the church we are presently going to. She says it’s basically the top 4 KLOVE songs being sung over and over again (they sing the same music every week).

I basically go for the preaching (which is good) so I put up with the music. A lot of people come in 15 minutes late though so they don’t have to listen to the music.

Good sermons are even more rare than good music. I can’t stand when a preacher compromises scripture, but most do that these days. This church seems to emphasize preaching it like it is.

A couple of weeks ago the pastor went through the dangerous and politically incorrect verses in Ephesians (wives, obey your husbands, husbands, love your wives). He said up front some people were going to be upset with his sermon, but he had a responsibility to be true to scripture. But I liked that he also emphasized the husband’s responsibility. “Husbands, it says you must love your wife like Christ loved the church. Do you understand what that means? It means you must be willing to die for your wife and to sacrifice yourself for her.” And that’s exactly right.
